The Australian Privacy Principles are in place to protect consumers from their personal information being ‘over shared’ and organisations must adhere to the Privacy Act 1988.
There are 11 Australian Privacy Principles that make the standards.
- TONICPTY respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data we hold about you.
- We will use the information to communicate with you by email and text about the services we offer.
- You have choices about certain information we collect about you and how we communicate with you.
- When you are asked to provide information, you may decline to do so, but if you choose not to provide information that is necessary to provide some of our services, you may not be able to use those services.
- The information we hold is provided directly from you. When you provide it to us directly to open a subscription, you may use an alias name, however the email address must be legitimate.
- We do NOT share your personal data.
- You have the right to access, modify, and correct personal data about you.
- As per Australian law, we retain your information for seven years.
- Only you, or a person authorised by you to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal data.
- This Privacy Policy replaces all previous disclosures we may have provided to you about our information practices with respect to the service.
